Good to see Some Hams!
 

I know that this is an old post but it got my attention and I had to reply.
It is nice to see that others in the automotive hobby are also Hams.

I am looking to put a 2mtr In my 2003 SLK230 but I cant find a place to mount it, BUT I already have a 1/2" hole in the trunk for the antenna :) The previous owner was kind enough to take out the Phone system and left me the hole.

If anyone has any suggestions as to where to mount the radio let me know.

It would be nice if all of the hams would friend each other so we can also talk about problems IE interference ig. noise etc. without clogging up the threads with stuff no one knows about.
