How do i access the tweeter speaker in the door frame on a W210
The tweeter in the door of my '97 E420 has stopped working. It looks like I need to remove a plastic piece that contains the speaker grill but also surrounds the top of the window frame. It is a large piece. Do I have to remove that entire window frame trim piece to access the tweeter? Thanks

Yes, that speaker grill is part of that entire frame that goes around the window. The door panel needs to be removed first.
Good luck.

Thanks! I've removed the door panel a few times, but I've never taken that frame off. It looks like it just snaps into place with clips.
