Power Antenna

Will the antenna work with the switch if there is no radio? i dug one out of the junkyard and i'm trying to figure out if it works but i have no radio installed yet.... it's not doing anything when i plug it in and doesn't do anything when i push the switch up or down...
thanks

doc,
check out the car audio forum on this site. haven't found a straight answer on this question but i found a way to jump it from a 12V wire that'll tell me if it's working.

we need to figure out which pin is supposed to get the 12V switched from the ignition and then we could just jumper a lead to that pin and ground it and see if it does its thing... i'll let you know if i find anything.

doc,
found a wiring diagram here:http://skinnerbox.steaky.org/Service/W123/Index/617Tindex.html
you need to scroll down and download the pdf. power is supposed to come to pin #1 from terminal 30 on the fuse block according to the diagram.

Cool.............I have little in the way of 123 info on hand.....but I have hardcopy manuals for everything but the transmission (but have a PDF of that) for the W116. Might look closer at it tomorrow weather permitting.
