Help! My c230 doesnt have a changer and was wondering what i can install?

I believe the units M-B used in that time frame were Alpine. May run into some connector problems though. Talk to custom installer who has installed Alpine for some time. Hopefully the wiring is pre-installed.

Should be able to buy a changer for this no problem, eBay or probably from MB yet. It's easy to do, you do need the changer AND the bracket. It fits in the pocket area in the trunk to the right of the battery. It IS prewired, wires are behind the trunk trim on the right side, and it is plug and play on a 97 yet.

OK, don't forget you need a w202 bracket also! Just in case you are a newbie, this is NOT a D2B or fiber optic changer! Don't tell Dr J I actually helped someone

If you have not bought one yet, I have the OEM one from my 97 that I will sell you for $200. I installed a Nak CD400, so it is unusable for me now.
