Hey guys im having this odd issue with my 1988 260E, i just recently took into my local mercedes dealer to get a diagnostics done and everything came back fine, but without realizing it, when i got home I turned the car off and the radio and the antenna stayed on, absolutely no buttons on the radio will work, but is shows a radio staion, but again NO buttons will work

I had the same problem. Take out the fuse for the radio and then put it back in - for a quick fix. I would say that your radio faceplate is tired - that is what was wrong with mine.
