CD Player cable adapter
Hello,
I am installing an Alpine CHM-S630 CD Changer in my 1993 300SD. When I ordered the changer, the adapter cable needed was identifed as a MBZ/E-ALP which has a double-headed end (4-pin flat plug + 8-pin round) that is supposed to mate with the cable "in the trunk". After a wrestling match in my trunk, I located a cable (driver side, well, coming from the amplifier area). However, this cable is a flat, 12-pin , male plug affair . I either have the wrong adapter or I have found the wrong cable "in the trunk". Can anyone sort this out ? Thanks, Rob |
