Testing cd changer.

I have a mercedes MC3194 cd changer from years ago. I do NOT have a mercedes however and want to sell it on ebay. BUT I do not know if it works(pretty sure thought). Is there a way I can test it, hook it up to a power source? Can a car audio place test it? Any help is appreciated, thanks, Rory
