Hello all.

I have a 1998 E300 TD,the radio seems set up for a trunk mounted CD changer but is not equipped with one.

My question is what changer do I need to interface with the radio,factory or aftermarket?

And is it simply mount and hook up or is it more complicated.

check out crutchfield.com, they are a stereo shop and their website will let you know what is compatable and they also sell any interface cables you may need.

You can either use the non fiber optic MB changer, or an alpine one with a blitzsafe adapter.
Crutchfield sells an aftermarket changer with the adapter basically built into it, but its overpriced compared to the alpine.
