inline fuse next to radio 1985 300D ???

I found a service manual for my 300D and I was looking to see if the radio not working may be a fuse issue. In the manual it states there is an inline fuse next to the radio but I'm not seeing it. Do I have to remove something to get to it? The fuses under the hood seem fine and the other accesories that run with the radio fuse work.

Radio fuse

In the back of the Becker radio there is a fuse. The fuse is housed in a "pull out" holder. You might not be able to see the fuse filament, so I would suggest that you just replace it with a new fuse. Good luck!

So does this mean I have to pull the radio to get to it?

Yes, you have to pull out the radio.

I also have a question? How do you get the radio out of the slider? Mine is stuck in it, and when I slide the radio and its slider out of the cage, there's wires preventing me to get it out. Its frustrating.

Pull the ashtray and frame out. Then there is a small tab on the bottem left of the radio that locks it in place. Pull it down and the radio out at the same time. There should be enough slack in the wires to allow the radio to slide forward.
