Is my antenna connected...
How do I check to see if my antenna is connected on my 85 300D-T? anyone? It's a Becker Mexico.. I get no reception.

Your best bet is to pull the radio and see if it is connected in the back of the radio. You also need to check the connection to the antenna in the trunk. If everything looks connected, go to your nearest audio store. They usually have bench antennas that they can hook up to your radio to see if it needs replacement. Good luck, I wasn't so lucky. My fm tuner decided it needed a permanent vacation.

What does the radio sound like in FM and AM mode..If it is indeed the radio the noise that comes out when you listen will be a very low level and if it is the antenna the noise that will come out will be a much higher level as if there is just an absence of the music...Especially on AM..Don't forget that the early stages of the radio transmit thru the same section and if there is a failure in that section you will lose both AM and FM.

antenna access
so i just get some din removal tools and pull out....chack it. and tehn push back in???
