Hi,

I have a 1995 C280 and the radio just started acting up recently. I pulled the car into the garage and turned the radio off, and heard a static pop as the antenna went off (kind of like the sound when you flip to a TV channel and its all static). Later I turned back on the radio and there was no sound at all from the left rear speaker. I undid the panel covering it up to check the wiring and it seemed okay. Later, I turned the radio back off and on about three times and I kept hearing the static pop. I did have a sub and amp installed, and had taken the amp and sub out, and basically left the wiring installed. Circuit City did the job and I was wondering if that could have anything to do with the "pop" when turning the radio off or shorting out he left rear speaker. Please help on this issue
