1996 C280 blows antenna fuse everytime I...
My baby is blowing the 75amp antenna fuse everytime I turn the radio on...
Any ideas why this would start after 10 years? Just blows the fuse all out when the radio is turned on and now my antenna is stuck in the down position and I get no stations |

Check . . .
. . . whatever else is on that fuse. In the '86 420SEL, I had the same problem, and it turned out to be the vacuum pump for the door locks. It was dead and was shorting out the fuse. I had to disconnect the pump and do without vacuum locks for a while, until I could get a used pump that worked.

Thanks....I'll check that as I did just install a new trunk switch that was bad and not allowing my locks to work.
Thanks |
