W124 Convenience Module wiring help

W124 1992 300E

Background info - On these cars, if they are parked with the windows/sunroof left open, by locking the car and holding the key in the lock position the windows/sunroof will close. Immediately turning the key back and holding in the unlock position will cause all the windows to open.

Problem – I installed an aftermarket remote entry unit that works very well but will not allow me to access the feature to close/open windows.

I understand that a signal is sent to the convenience module to activate the windows/sunroof. I tried extending the pulse (hold lock button down) from the remote but it didn't work.

Help needed – I do not have a detailed wiring diagram of the convenience module so I don’t know which wire to splice into in order to have the window close/open feature work with the remote entry.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Acky
