I Just purchased a 1990 300E, with 154,000 miles on it from my insurance guy for $1,500.00. He was trading it in for an 01 320 4matic.
The most the dealer would offer him was $1,200.00
I think it was a good deal for a daily driver.
It has a few minor issues ione of which is no radio code for the Becker 1480 serial number x9531166.
The PO never received it and didn't use the radio.
I don't know if the radio even works.
But I need the code to find out .
Can anyone out there help me with the number?

I am thinking of purchasing a very nice looking BE 1480, but it was removed from the car and the seller says he has no way of testing it. What's the most it could cost me to repair (ballpark)? Or to put it another way, what would you charge to sell me one with a 90 day warranty?
