1994 E420.

the radio was working perfectly fine the other day. I go to turn it on today and nothing. The red alarm led wont even flash. I hit the power button and it dosent turn on. I checked the fuses in the box under the hood and they all look to be okay. so whats up? its acting like its not getting power. Are there other fuses to check?

I just realized you have a 1492 - not a 1432... anway.. I think the original post might apply but ignore the "tuner in the trunk" part. Good Luck.

Did you check the fuse on the back of the Becker 1432 head unit? (You'll need to remove the radio from the dash to check this fuse) Since you also have a tuner in the trunk - check the fuse in the tuner too. My Becker /Bose audio system also is equiped with a fuse for the amp located in the fuse box in the trunk. (S- Class W140)

If the fuse is blowing on the radio itself it would indicate that there is some sort of problem...Be sure to replace fuse with exact same value.
