No Amp for My '96 C220?

Here I thought all this time that I have a bose sound system in my C220 since I have the 4 door speakers and the woofers on the rear deck. So I finally decide to take a look at the factory amp and remove both sides of the trunk side covers. Guess what? NO AMP!

Could I have a system powered by just the stock head unit? Haven't figured out how to remove the center console trim to take a close look.
Actually, that may make the whole head unit swap that much easier!
