I have posted previously on this subject but just to ask again
do I have an option for MP3 directly to the H/U of Mercedes Tape/Cassette CD Changer.The H/U Model is called "Exquisit" and the Changer is a Mercedes Benz badged 6 disc type.I searched the WWW and came across both Monster iCruze and Blitzsafe units but I am a little unsure what I am exactly getting for the money.Looked at Dension but a lot of problems with these units.Tried the Cassette Adaptor and the FM Modulator but the sound is way off the quality I was looking for.

I just returned an Icruze that I had connected to my CM2396 head unit. The icruze functioned as advertised, using the cd changer controls on the h/u to control the playlists on the ipod. However, when the icruze was connected to the h/u I lost my fader control, and the fader was adjusted all the way to the front. Monster cable support tried to help me out, but they concluded that it was part of the design of my head unit and not a malfunction of the icruze.

There were a couple of suggestions in this forum to try and see if the head unit could be reprogrammed in some way to correct this, but I didn't investigate further.

I would suggest emailing Icruze tech support with your specific head unit details, and they will be able to tell you about the compatibility, before you purchase.

Overall, I was very pleased with the design/features/price of the icruze, and would recommend it, assuming you are compatible.


Btw BH Photo had the icruze on sale for 149, plus 29 for a cable.
