Want to change headunit 91 300te 4matic

I have read some post and am not sure on what to do here. All I want to do is to change out my becker headunit with a rockford fosgate deck that I have had since 2001 and never installed it. How would I go about this. I do know how to get the stereo out but I am not sure if I can just conect with the wires available to me. Thank you in advance for all your help.

George

I replaced my oem unit with a Clarion head unit so I could play CD's

I had to give up and take it to the delaer where I bought the head unit as I could figure out all the wires
They told me there was no harness available and had to splice the Clarion in.
To get the radio to work properly you have to run a wire back through the car to the rear aerial.

Jim
