Mercedes "Audio 30" CM2299 european tuning?
Hi,
I'm selling an Alpine-made Mercedes Stereo, model CM2299, off a '99 CLK (I think). The guy who wants it is in France, and the radio is currently set to the US tuning standards (10khz increments AM, and .200mhz increments FM), which won't work in Europe, which needs 9khz increments AM, and .1mhz increments FM. Since the radio is digitally tuned, I believe it, like some of the beckers, can be changed through a hidden menu from one configuration to the other. However, I don't know how to access that! I offered to do some research for the fellow, and reconfigure it for him if I could figure out how, otherwise, he may be on his own. Any help you could offer would be great! Peace, Sam
