Hirschmann 6000EL connector - which wires to which?

Hello all. As the new owner of a 1985 300 TD wagon, this is my first post. The mast on my power antenna was bent, so yesterday, I took the whole assembly out of the car and was going to replace it with a generic, non power antenna. However, I later discoverd from this awesome forum that I can replace the mast farily cheaply and that is now what I plan to do. Howerver, now that I have taken the whole assembly out, I can't remember for the life of me which wires go to what pins on the connecter. There are five wires going in to the connector: 2 reddish brown, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 black. Does anyone know which wires go to pins numbered 1, 2,3,5, 6? The wires going into the antenna motor assembly are not the same colors. I want the dash switch to work and the antenna up with radio on as it did before I took it out. Thanks for any suggestions or ideas.

Go here, (page 115 for the antenna diagram)

http://mb.braingears.com/123_DISK2/program/ETM/83_300.pdf

Notice the wire diagram the box for the antenna control. Notice the numbers for the pins and then the wires have color codes. Look at your connector. You should be able to see numbers associated with the holes in the connector. Match the color wire to the pin or hole.
An example would be Number 1 pin is for the RED wire. I got this information on page 115. Just to the left of the wording "antenna motor repay" It shows that the connection is #1 (just to the left of C135) and the wire, coming from the fuse box is "RD", Red in color. You should be able to piece it together with this information.

Talking Thanks!

Hi Dave,

Thanks much... I haven't tried it, but that looks like just the info I needed. Also thanks for the link to the manual... I didn't know it was online (I just ordered a cd from ebay, but only $5 so probably worth it)

Sorth
