Question How to replace door speakers in a 91 300e?

Would anyone know how to replace the side speakers in the door in a 91 300e or at least how am i supposed to remove the cover? do i have to remove the entire door panel or just the grill guard? both of mine finally went out. also does anyone know a source where i would be able to purchase a pair other than the dealership?

thanks in advance..

www.crutchfield.com has speakers at good prices, and they can help you with their "what fits my car" section.
I'm partial to kicker and audiobahn (in that order), but the bigger the range, and the higher the RMS value it can take is usually better

Cant help you on the door panal, somebody else might

good luck

Wait!

I have a good working set of door speakers from a 90's 300E. What are the part num's on yours? I would be willing to sell my pair for $50 + your choice of shipping. I know dealer price is well over twice that.

Ya, you could go aftermarket, but you'd have to bypass the factory amps, blah, blah,........

Also, if you don't like my price, make me an offer, I'll consider any offer.
