Dumb Antenna Question
 

Umm....the antenna on my '85 300D is supposed to have three sections, right?? It was only working properly for a couple of days after I bought it, and I can't quite remember what it looked like. I have WD-40'd it and was able to get one section unstuck, so there are now two that extend, but the middle one (if indeed there is one) is proving to be a bear and lubing and pulling (no dirty comments, plz) isn't working.

I would replace the mast, The top nut comes off powerup the radio it will spit out the mast and the winder cable. You then slide the new winder cable in untill it catches and turn off the radio, it should pull it in, helps if you have someone to guide it .
