physical install of aftermarket on 300d
I've read alot in the forums about the various wiring options when installing an aftermarket radio into the 300d (mine's an '85). But, I haven't seen much about the physical installation.
The Becker chassis has a couple of slots for the two metal tangs to snap in to. Do most aftermarket units also have these slots so that they just slide in and snap secure? TIA, Terry |

Pretty much anything will fit right in there. You get that "tin can" retainer unit and that holds the unit into the vehicle.
I wouldn't be worried with theft, I do not think people look at them as targets.
