Strange CD problems

My w202 1999 came with a Bose 10 player and Becker 6 disc changer fitted in the rear luggage compartment. Whilst i am playing a CD, and perform extended braking (braking until I come to a full stop at a traffic light) the cd cuts off and resumes 2 -3 seconds later and sometimes not at all. Any advice is appreciate.

CD Problem

Hi m8829,
Sounds like a strange problem to me. It sounds like you are having a voltage drop when applying the brakes. Almost as if it were getting power from the brake source and not the radio source. You should check to see if you have a voltage drop on the changer when your brakes are pressed. A good multimeter and a friend to help you may find the answer quickly without having to go to the dealer. Thank you for using Mercedes Shop Forum.
