Unhappy W124 Becker radio removal

1987 model with Becker stereo cassette is dead no signal or codes no antenna goes up or down.. I want to remove the radio, some were I read the ash tray assemblie comes out and there are two tabs that press in to release the radio. Is this correct? how do I remove the ash tray assemblie from the console are there any clips that push in on each side?

I can not fine any information in my work shop manuals for this proceeder.

Please help!
