Where's the best place to mount tweeters in the W123? Any suggestions on making a tweeter mount? Thanks.

I tried a bunch of places, and the best was on the dash, with the left tweeter aimed at the right person, and the right tweeter aimed at the left person. It really depends on your tweeters; mbq HAVE to be aimed off axis (not directly at listener), focals should be aimed off axis, and soft/silk dome tweeters can be aimed at the listener directly without bad results. I like the tweeter firing at the opposite listener; it works with both metal and silk domes, and adds some depth to the soundstage.

On the dash? Mounted flat so therefore facing up?

no no no - sorry, i meant using wedge mounts (flush?) so that they're pointed at the opposite side listener. If you cant get them there, put them on the sail panels, where the manual mirror controls are aimed at the opposite listener. You can try them aimed up so they reflect off the windshield, but it'll probably sound way too harsh.
