Hi folks, total newbie here posting to the only forum where I think I can find an answer to my question!

I don't own a Mercedes (hangs head in shame) but have just bought the above aerial to replace a broken one in my Isuzu Trooper.

It looks good in terms of fit, but the trooper has just 2 wires from an "aerial up/down" switch in the centre console.

The 6000EL has a 3 pin socket, so which pin does what? I understand that one of them might be for inching the aerial up & down, but I just want straight up/down digital-style.

Any suggestions please?

BTW, the connectors in the plug are 2 parallel & 1 off-set.
