I am pretty sure that the yellow wire is ignition, and red is memory.

Blue is your antenna wire/amp turn on lead.

I dont use the ground wire. The antenna connector usually grounds the headunit for me. I only use the groundwire if there is no antenna connection.

i was just reading the instruction manual and it says

" to a metal surface on the car
first connect the black ground lead, then connect the yellow and red power input leads"

Exactly. Connect your antenna lead (the big black antenna wire) to the antenna socket on your deck, and then connect the red wire to your memory wire, and then the yellow wire to your constant 12 volt wire.

The brown wire is ground.
The black and yellow wire is your ignition/switched 12 volt lead.
The solid red wire is your constant 12v wire.

Let me see if I can pull the wiring diagram for your car.

Yellow wires on the back of atermarket HU's are switched (ignition).
Red is constant 12 volt.

So, the brown wire from chassis goes to black wire (I dont do this)
The black/yellow wire from chassis goes into the yellow wire of HU.
The Red wire from chassis goes into the red wire of HU. I am still looking for a wiring diagram.

TheDon, do you still have the aftermarket HU the PO left in there? If so, you can just use the exisiting colors to guide you.

Ok, that first loom is your speaker harness. I am almost positive.

Hmmm, that second harness.

Do you have a voltmeter??

If you do, take the brown wire and connect it to the black connector on the voltmeter, and take the red wire on the voltmeter, and check to see what wire has +12 when car is off, and which one recieves +12 when you turn ignition.
And when I do stereos, I usually pull the (-) negative terminal off.

For wiring the speakers, I just bypassed all the stock wiring, and put new amps in. I run an amp for the front speakers, and an amp for the rears. Gives me awesome sound.

yea... well im stuck for now

ok here is what happened

i have power to the cd player.. i wired the ground to the brown wire for the hell of it.. i put a cd in.. it plays 3 seconds of a song.. i can hear it in the back but not the front then the CD player shuts off and turns back on

i have the front posatives running to a wire that is red and black.. the negative of those 2 running to a black wire that is with the red and black one

likewise for the rear out of the cd player but to a green with black and black.. i get some sound out of the rear.

-update-

ok if i take the white wires p/n and any other one like purple p/n and attach them to the green/black ..red/black wire set i only get sound out of the rear.. is the crossfader causing me to have problems? if so ill just go get some speaker wire and rewire the whole sob.. white positive to left front speaker positive.. white negative to left speaker negative

--update number 2---

it appears that all 4 speakers in the car have green wblack stripe and black wires leading to them...wtf
