New speakers for my 450SEL
The cone for the passenger side fell apart last week. A bit of research lead to these.
Reviews at Crutchfield.com and Amazon.com were good and I couldn't pass up on $15 for a pair. Mine fit in the lower part of the dash rather than the top. Michael I just checked and they are not available, did I get the last ones? Crutchfield says they won't ship till July 11 so maybe I got a good deal and have good timing?

Blaus are decent speakers, FAR better than those OLD units in there.

I had over $3000 ($330 for the front 2 way component speakers alone) in equipment in my '76 280C and spent 40 hours doing a stealth install. I miss that system sometimes but what I find interesting is that the plain old Becker Mexico and those two little 4" speakers sound fine if I don't try to turn it up too high. Michael

They arrived today, they shipped UPS from a warehouse 10 miles from me.
Installation was easy altho I did have to clip the top corners and drill two holes. They definitely have a better top end but sounded very muddy and fatiguing so I reversed the phase to one and that cleared it up. Michael
