How to connect older antenna lead to a newer radio?

I’m installing a stock ’99 E-class radio into a ’95 S-class. The electrical connectors plug in fine but the antenna lead doesn’t match the socket in the newer radio.

Does anyone make an adaptor or I have to cut and splice a newer style radio antenna connecter to the existing lead?

Stop by your nearest radio dealer (even Circuit City) and buy the adapter.

Walmart has them and are open 24 hours. Scotche sells a kit that has many different antenna types that adapt to the old antennas.
