I'm going with a custom ported box upholstered in black vinyl with the amplifier attached on one end....

Can anyone give me some specifications for space requirements for these subwoofers?

Am I better off separating the chambers?

Any tips???

Thank you
Mike McKinney

SHYNE,

You mean something like this:

2 Infinity 10" Woofers with separate chambers and an amplifier attached to the side of the box.

greetingz,

MBenz:

similar to that brother!!! My box will not be bandpass.
The box will be ported instead with the subs firing directly into the former first aid kit area. I have permanently attached the lid down and have drilled small holes to let sound pass through, close to a 100!!! I covered them with the old speaker grill's from the back.... I'm fitting them with Sony ES 3 way 6X9 running on their own amps.

Can anyone give me the specs for those Pheonix Gold 10" DVC?

I love big sound,

Mike McKinney

I would definitely seperate the chambers; if one blows the other sub will be playing in a box twice as big, and blow too. Is your sub an xmax or a qs? Recommended vented is .7-1.2 for each,a nd port length/diameter will depend on box size/tuning frequency.

Good luck man, ports through the rear deck sound great!
