Bought a new mast for auto antenna, and will only extend about 10". I can hear the motor going down for about 10 seconds, but going up only runs a few seconds, can this be adjusted or is the motor gone.

I assume it is the 89 300TE. Where do you have the 3 position antenna switch on the upper console set?

I believe switch must be in the upper position for full up travel.
