I was woundering what is the speaker wattage in my 1988 300E. They are the original speakers by the way

Speakers don't have "wattage." A speaker can handle a certain amount of "wattage" depending on the size of the magnet, its ability to dissipate heat, and amount of cone excursion. Of course all these intertwine to determine the power handling capacity of your speaker. In general, a more powerful amplifier is better for any speaker. Low powered amplifiers, when pushed to the limit, tend to create distortion which will kill your speakers. Kuan |

Does anybody know the original speakers "wattage" limit is
eg: they have a power handeling of 30watts etc. |

The speakers in your vehicle are rated at about 15 to 30 Watt.
