Replacing my Stereo (1989 300SE) HELP!!!

I just got a new deck and installation kit, but how do you get the old one out? I can't find any access holes or anything. I don't want to damage anythig.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Okay

Okay, radio's out. Now I need a wiring diagram so I know what old wires to use/not use. Does anyone have one? It is a Becker Grand Prix from a 1989 300SE.

Is the becker working? If it is do you want to sell it? mwitiiram@gmail.com

For starters you will need a harness adaptor from crutchfield.com so as to not cut into the factor power and illumination harness. Do u want to do this through the fader, bypass the fader, or bypass the fader and amps. bypassing fader and amps is best, I just find it time consuming for a first timer. Easiest is bypassing fader but this isn't always best. Also replace speakers if you want a better sound than what you have got.

I put an aftermarket in my 89 300SE and am going to put the Becker back in this weekend. Just don'y like the aftermarket in the Benz. Good luck! you will get through it although you way just want to quit. Keep that head high!
