Do you have a Bose system in your car? If so, it could be a problem with the Bose amp, which is a separate component from the radio (which is called the "head unit")...

I've seen 202's with BOSE do this too. The amp is in the trunk and I've seen rear window seals leak water and ruin the amp. Has happened more than once. New amp + having to get the window resealed, ouch.

Open the trunk and remove the grey trunk lining panel over the left (driver's side) rear wheel. Its in there, very easy to see when you remove the panel.

Before searching behind the left panel in the trunk, look up under the rear deck near the speakers. It may be there.

how do i test amp

I was going to take it to a audio place and have them test it. Is there an easy way to test the amp. I did power on the car and listen for it to click but I did not hear anything. I also looked for and led indicator with no success. Suggestions needed.

That's why I questioned it when you said the "amp and fuse is good". There is no good way to test the amp, you test everything else (radio output, hint hint) and if everything else is OK you try the amp. Easy enough to do for a dealer tech. You've heard or seen the sign "Absolutely no returns on electrical components"? Doesn't apply when you are down to where it "has to be" a certain component and you order it and uh "gasp!" that wasn't it, the parts dept will take it back. Perk. Probably your amp, but you need to check for water intrusion into the trunk before you replace it and it gets shorted again. SURE you could just try to waterproof the AMP, but wouldn't you really rather fix the leak??
