Radio Security Code Help
I purchased a used 2001 ML320 with MCS. Last night I had to replace the battery. Now the radio is asking for a security code. I called the local MB dealer and they said that I need to bring the vehicle in. I understand that every time the battery is disconnected the radio will ask for the security code. I know this is an anti-theft feature... However I would like to get my radio working with out visiting the dealer and paying them.... I did not get any previous maintenance paperwork on the vehicle so looking on that for the security code is not an option. Can any one help me with this?

What makes you think you're going to have to pay the dealer?
Go there, go to parts department, and provide proof of ownership.

Radio Security Code Help
Maybe I have become too jaded, but my experience with car dealerships in general has been unless it is under warranty they want to get paid to help you, especially when the vehicle was not purchased from them.
