Aux In via Cassette deck modification
Hey folks,
I could not get Auxilliary input in my 2001 SL500, has that fiber crap, so I used this web post and got it done through the cassette input, nice clear sound, didn't cost anything except for a cable and time. I had to leave my tape motors running though as the deck will not continue without them running. Otherwise an easy mod with a magnifying lens! I gotta say thats pretty dam cool. Makes me glad my Clarion has a aux in, all I had to do was plug in a couple RCA's and now I have aux in the glove box.
Good thinking. -Zach
