At full volume I get approximately 30% sound output. The radio and CD cannot be heard at freeway speeds.

Here is what I have already tried:
1. Replaced the TA8221 output amps in the head unit.
2. Cleaned the front/rear fader with contact cleaner. Stopped the crackling but didn't affect the volume issue.

3. Disconnect trunk mounted amp = door bass units quit.
Reconnect = they work again.

Any ideas?
