w124 Becker radio... where antenna wire?
I just finished putting in a whole new sound system into my 92 300E. I replaced all the speakers as well as the Becker radio. However, I do not get any reception with the new CD deck because I have no idea where the radio reception wire is in this car. I can trace it from the antenna around the back of the trunk to the area with the old amplifiers in the right side of the trunk but from there it disappears into the unknown. Where can I find the other end of this wire so that I can hook it up to my new deck and get some reception? I found the blue lead wire that turns the antenna up and down, but that is all I found so far.
Merry Christmas and thanks for the help, Leo |

I am confused, if you have the two piece radio 1432 (control in front tuner in back) and the bose amp, there is no radio lead in the front, it ended in the trunk with the tuner. If you had a lead in the front did it drop somewhere. I guess you removed the stuff what did you see. You will have to run one from the rear antenna to the front if you dont. I would check your connector types!
