From Boonville
this is for the 4 pins... looking at the rear of the radio... the pin on the extreme right is the ground(brown), 2nd from right is the ignition(black with green strip), 3rd from right is the radio illumination(gray), the 4th pin from the right looking at the back of the radio is constant 12 volts(red) I am looking at the same radio and next to the 4 pins just to the left is plug in for a female to go over 2 flat male prongs... this radio has a heavier blue wire that connects to these 2 flat male prongs... I think this must be the 12 volt feed.
below the 4 pins are a couple plug ins for the speakers L & R if you need these plugs let me know and I will ship you some for the speaker wires.. Jim

Round Pin
Jim&Suzy, I don't know what it is for but I know that it is not used in your application...
I hooked up a radio yesterday in the shop with a 12 inch antenna and I connected the ground to the battery and then the other 3 wires from the 4 pins and the single wire(from next to the 4 pins) to the 12 volt supply and I hooked up 2 temporary speakers and had music and the casette worked... I am going to try and see if I can get the radio to work by switching the 3 wires... I know that one of the wires should feed the antenna and one of the wires is the radio illumination and the 3rd wire is 12 volt from the ignition. So I should be able to get the radio to work without the power to the antenna and maybe without the power to the ignition???????? Does your car have the radio harness??????????/ I also wonder how the fader works or rather how it is hooked into the radio/speakers?????? Jim
