Those would be ideal. For some reason I could not find any 5" a few years ago when I did my W123.

Got the Polk speakers

OK, just a follow-up... I got the Polk speakers, and they fit pretty well. Just as well as the front ones, though the screw holes don't match up, but that was to be expected, I think.

I do think now, that it could really benefit from a larger model. Those 5" woofers seem really small. Not sure if a 6" would fit in terms of depth if the hole were cut larger. I know there is some fuel related items right beneath this area that you definitely don't want to injure in the process.

So it seems pretty "light" on the bass. I'm thinking that a good compromise would be maybe to add-on one of those compact powered subwoofers. Another thought would be to somehow fit some larger speakers in the rear doors.
