The stats are right, EXCEPTIONAL FM receptiom, s/n ratio, freq response and on crutchfield it had like 99% good reviews...... Anyone own one? I figure HD Radio is the way to go, I live in an urban area with about 21 channels in HD + 14 on multiplexed HD2......

Haven't listened to HD so can't comment on that. You're wise to just dump the Becker, unless you have a classic MB... they're not worth keeping.

Crutchfield, reputable folks. Go with specs on frequency response first, as reception a big deal, S/N ratio, most head units will be just fine. Around here, not as many stations. Have original Beckers with cassette, work. Have a Kenwood CD receiver in the 82, junk. Can't comment on HD. Would like better reception myself, when upgrading will consider. Blaupunkt USED to be tops in FM.
