1992 300D Radio Wiring Schematics??
Im looking for a wiring schematic for my 300d 1992. The original radio and wiring are currently installed. I will be upgrading to a pioneer radio.
I'm also wondering if anyone has any info about the amplification system and the plug that comes off the CD changer. There are a lot of strange plugs and Id like to get this thing making noise. Can anyone help? |

The 92 stereo has an amp and a CD player?
I just wired a Sony into my 87 and I love it. I bypassed the fader adjustment, that thing is worthless with a modern stereo. If you're somewhat handy with a multimeter, just pull the old stereo out and start testing wires to figure out what's what. For a new stereo, you need a constant hot, a switched hot, ground and the blue wire for your antenna. Oh and the speakers I nice little trick to sort out your speaker wires is to turn the multimeter in to continuity mode to find the +/- for a speaker. Btw, welcome to the forum

Thanks for the help and the welcome. I am not very handy with a multi-meter. I do have one though with a continuity test. Maybe now would be a good time to try to learn how to use it.

The picture says it all except it does not show the "bose amp" the audio goes to the bose and then to the speakers, the thumbwheel controls the fader thru it.
