As of today my 98 ML radio has to be manually turned off, even when the key is not in the ignition. What would make this happen? How do i return it to proper operation? Thanks in advance.

First of all, welcome to the club happydestiny. I see this is your first post.
Second, I dont know the answer to your question, but I would think its still covered under warranty. Diagnosing electrical items like that are hard (at least it is for me). It could be something in the radio unit, etc. Sorry I cant be of help. |

That would be covered under warranty. Wouldn't try to mess with that at all.
My 300E and a Jaguar that I used to own would turn off a few seconds after the key was out of the ignition, but that was always a normal operation (big capacitors, I guess). My ML radio turns off immediately though, so anything else should be a radio problem.
