fiber optic radios
Is it possible to use the late model (140-210 cars) radio with the fiber optic wiring in my '90? More importantly, is it possible to hook up a cd changer in my car with these radios?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-MER...32127896QQrdZ1 I like this one. Opinions?

i personally think it's very possible. just depends on the amount of work you
want to spend. the cd changer must match the CD changer model to be compatible. then, you need to locate the fiber cable, which has proprietary terminators/plugs. i'm not sure if the power plug is proprietary. easier to retrofit if the changer is placed in the glove box. but if you intend for changer to be the trunk, you'll need to pull power and fiber from dash to boot... a crucial and labor intensive bit of work.
