1995 E 420 BE 1492 Radio goes dead

I have a 1995 E 420 with a Becker BE1492 RAdio head and a 6 CD changer in the trunk. The CD changer stopped working and I look at the changer and it looks like there is a CD jammed in the unit. The radio displayed the "err" message everytime that I pressed the CD player button. Now the radio stopped working all together. The LCD is blank and whenever I try to press the power button nothing happens. I checked and replaced the card fuses for the radio in the compartment near the firewall in the engine compartment. I replaced the 10Amp blade fuse on the back of the radio. Are there other fuses that I can check? I borrowed my neighbors CM2294 which I belive is almost the exact radio as the BE1492 and the CM2294 worked ok but the CD changer did not work. Is there any site for troubleshooting this radio? What do I do? I would imagine that the CM2294 is the same radio as the BE 1492 and it might be possible to take a digital multimeter and compare the be 1492 to the CM2294 to see what part of the radio has gone bad. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I found three potential causes listed for the changer not working at all:
Voltage Supply

And these two plus the above for changer not loading unloading discs:

Single CD adapter inserted
Protective cover from CD not removed
