I'm considering buying a '98 E320 but it has no CD changer, though the radio unit has a CD button. Would the 6 CD changer in my '96 E320's trunk work in the '98 and is there already a cable to the trunk of the '98 which would make the switch relatively simple?

The W210 cars are pre-wired for the CD changer. The 1998MY cars need the non-fibre optic unit. The unit from the 1996 car may work.
