Hi,
Has anybody installed an after-market stereo with the stock amp? I just installed an Eclipse AVN on my 97 S600 and hear a lot of interference through my speakers. Do I need to bypass the amp or change it? Thanks.

The W140 Bose amp receives a high speaker signal from the factory stereo, you need a special wiring harness to install an aftermarket unit.

Thanks for the response. So I don't have to bypass my stock Bose? Can you please elaborate on this "wiring harness"? Part number or brand, where to buy and where exactly it would be installed? Thanks.
