Sirius vs XM antenna?

Are the antennas the same for XM and Sirius? The new car has a Jensen multimedia setup with XM, I've already got Sirius. Without having to tear the dash apart to find out will one work with the other?

No - having had Sirius before and switched to XM now, they are different.

Thanks, guess I'll be tearing into the dash anyways.

Howard Stern fan? I love Sirius! I'm addicted. I known their satellites are different, so I guess their antennas might be, too.

No, never could stand him when he was on the local Wash DC station. I listen to Classic Rock and Country.

The antenna connections are different. That is all. You can buy an adapter to hook your XM antenna up to a Sirius receiver. I'm currently using one.
