Clearing DTC codes 1994 C280

Is there a way to clear stored using the radio in the vehicle? The code I'm trying to clear is P1700, after I made the appropriate repairs to by vacuum adapter.

How?

Don't know why they moved this to Audio Forum, but the DTC's are not cleared with the radio, they just want you to make sure you have your radio activation code handy before you clear the DTC codes by disconnecting the neg battery terminal for 5 min.
When you hook the bat back up, you will have cleared the DTC P1700, but you will have lost the radio, so you have to install that code again for radio operation.

If you have fixed the fault for the P1700, it will clear itself after several drive cycles. if you prefer to wait.

He did post in that section, but they moved his post to here, thinking he has an audio question. He has an N/59 diagnostic module code clearing question for DTCs...nothing to do with audio, so it should be moved back where it was.
